24- Cancellation & Rescheduling

Your appointments are very important to the TODAYS HANDYMAN team.

They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary.

Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.

Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice,

we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.

We value our staff’s time.  We also understand they have other jobs, family, and friends with whom they could be spending time.

TODAYS HANDYMAN pays their staff their entire wage for any cancelled appointment out of respect for their valuable time.

Therefore, we have a strictly enforced 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Any appointment that is cancelled or changed WITHOUT 24-hour notice will result in a charge of 5% processing fee.

Any projects $300 and over will be subject to an additional penalty of 20%. This is a non-refundable fee and cannot be applied to any future appointments.

If a project is canceled after work has been started any refund owed will be charged fees minus any incurred labor hours at a rate of no less than $55,

not exceeding $60 per labor hour.  Please allow up to 8-12 weeks for refunds to be processed.

The appointment fee may be added to a contract/package or charged individually.

 Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times

in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee.

The 24-hour cancellation policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availability,

as well as keeping our staff schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. TODAYS HANDYMAN

policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent

service for our established and future clientele.
